Is this story too mature for 6th grade?
I’m writing a story for my 6th grade English class and I need to know if what I have written so far is too mature for the 6th grade. Here’s what I have so far:
Nikki Oliver exited the lunch line carrying a salad and a blue Gatorade. She expertly maneuvered the craziness of the lunchroom to where the elite group of popular kids, her friends, sat at the far end of the cafeteria.
